The annual ranch rodeo in Cross Plains took place Saturday night. The competition was tough, as usual, with 10 of the 15 teams getting a time in every event.
Tom Merryman, good friend, top horse trainer, and all around good guy, won the top hand award. I couldn't be prouder if I had won it myself.
I always enjoy making these awards, and seeing someone like Tom, who will put it to good use, makes it even better.
