Knives and a bit

A few more things out for Christmas.

Scott's dress up knife. Mokume' bolster and a buffalo horn.

I hammered this one out of an old plow point.

A small knife, 2 1/2" cutting edge and a 3" handle.

Bits

I finished the last of the Christmas bits today. Damascus steel of course. The top is stainless steel damascus with a mild steel mouth piece.

The next is a 1018/nickel damascus based on an old Bayers pattern. I inlayed a little 24 carat gold for some added decoration. It's actually a brand. The high port mouth piece should make one go whoa.

Argentina style

Dwayne with Armoralleather sent me these pictures just before he put the knife in the mail.
The knife and sheath are made to be worn behind the back, and under the belt. I might try one for myself with a little smaller knife.

Christmas spurs

I knocked another Christmas order out today. I hope Sarah is pleased with them.
Hand forged, one piece spurs with nickel silver mountings. I used 4140 steel for the spurs. I can thin the bands down using this tough steel and not lose any strength. At the end of the day, Sarah won't feel like she has been wearing two anvils around.

Sheaths

I received these back from Dwayne at Armoralleather last week. His work made for an over all beautiful package.

Pocket clip, popular with my lady customers

The knives can be seen in a previous post.
