A bit and cheap cattle

This bit will be earned at a ranch rodeo next month.

We all know the price of cattle now days, plus, this is a good way to get inexperienced horses to track up with out much fuss. They get used to the sound of it dragging pretty quick.

My helper
I would bet there was more to this than just working horses. There are lots of fall rodeos and I wouldn't be surprised if Jessica doesn't make a few.

Letter openers

80 of them!
I'm glad to have them behind me.
These are on there way to a ladies golf tournament as prizes. I just hope nobody gets stabbed at the 19th hole.

I used a lot of different types of wood on these. Some natural, some dyed, but all of it all of it pretty.

The swap

The swap is something I very much enjoy. It gives me access to other artist's work that I probably wouldn't spend the money to get, but want real bad. The three top knives were traded for some pistol holsters that I just couldn't live without.

The next was built for a friend from a white tail deer shed he picked up. He hasn't paid me yet and has lots of neat stuff!

From the Bundy blog

A good read.

We should all read and understand the Constitution. The amount of rights we have trampled on every day is amazing, and it will do nothing but get worse.

Here it is;

Pretty ladies

We preg checked our South Dakota heifers this morning, and had around a 95% conception rate. A lot better than was expected, and a lot better than they usually do. Good cattle, in good health, on good pasture did the trick. They are now for sale.

We started out the morning by head light

950?

The count

It's getting hot guys, hurry up
